I married a Muslim about three years ago and proclaimed my Islam
about a year later. I am searching to find as many different, but
legitimate, English sources as possible to furthur my knowledge,
understanding and implementation of my chosen deen (religion). Can
someone make suggestions or direct me somewhere I can achieve my goal?

Assalamu alaikum,

There are too many books out there!  I suggest you check out the web site www.islamicbookstore.com and see which books you like.  Here's some recommendations for starters:

- Yusuf Ali's Qur'an translation
- Maududi's tafsir of the Qur'an
- Let Us Be Muslims (by Abul A'la Maududi)
- Kitab al-Tawhid (by Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab)
- Ar-Raheeq al-Makhtum (or The Sealed Nectar, by Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri)
- The Lawful and The Prohibited in Islam (by Yusuf al-Qaradawi)
- Riyadh-us-Saliheen (by Imam an-Nawawi)

There you have it. Qur'an, Seerah, Aqeedah, Fiqh and Hadith :)

Wassalamu alaikum.
