A tribute to husbands
A tribute to husbands

I was wondering if all us married ladies could talk about the loving, kind things our husbands do for us. Kind of like a tribute (for lack of a better way of putting it) to show our appreciation. I know we did the romantic thread thing but I know there is so much they do that may not be classified as romantic, but shows their loving kindness.
Anyone up for it?   :)

Well my husband does many things to make me feel special.

:)We have not gone 1 day in 1year and half without sending each other an instant message or email!!:)

:)He tells me he loves me at least once a day.

:)We don't ever go to bed angry with each other.

:)He always carries the heavy packages, even though he has a bad back.

:)He cooks supper at least once a week (I work full time)

:)He picks up after himself.

:)He is good to my son

:)He makes me laugh a lot

:)He always gently corrects me when I am wrong

:)We spend at least 1 hour a day, just talking to each other

hmmmmm I guess I am still in the honeymoon phase after almost 4 years of marriage:)

Great thread!!! :-) at least for us happily married (al hamdu lillah) ones.  For those who aren't: may Allah bless you with a husband who has all the best qualities in all of ours combined.

Al hamdu lillah my husband helps out a LOT when we have guests, which is very often
Al hamdu lillah he's very loving and affectionate
Al hamdu lillah he tries very hard not to hurt my feelings especially if he's correcting me (I wish I would try as hard as he does not to hurt his feelings!!)
Al hamdu lillah he's completely UN-picky about what he eats (and doesn't care if there's nothing prepared to eat)
He also tells me he loves me at least once a day :)
We haven't had a real fight where we got mad at each other in months! Is that normal?? :)
We call each other 3 or 4 times a day at least.
In Ramadan he encouraged me a lot to pray tahajjud and led the prayer the whole month till he finished the Qur'an.
Wow al hamdu lillah!
There's a lot of things that just make me think: Thank you Allah for giving me a husband like this. How did I ever deserve him??

mashallah sis, u havc good husband.

i'm not married, but i must tell u that my parents r the greatest couple ever.  Dad always helps mum when were not in the house, buys her flowers every so often, he also carries shopping when they go shopping although he is ill.  I think my dad is sooooooooooooooooo sweet 2 mum, if dad is mad at sum1 or work, he will never take his anger out on mum, also he isnt in2 culture so if mum does do something wrong he will expalin 2 her and not shout
